Sports complex of Beijing Central Nationality University hosted sport festival with the participation of the personnel of the Embassy of Turkmenistan, lecturers as well as Turkmen and Chinese students.
Sport festival organized by our diplomatic mission with the support of the Central Nationality University was dedicated to the adoption of the UN General Assembly Resolution on the World Bicycle Day, which was initiated by Turkmen leader.
Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the People’s Republic of China Chinar Rustamova addressed the participants with the speech and told about modern achievements of Turkmenistan in different spheres and about the programme of events dedicated to slogan of 2018 “Turkmenistan is the Heart of the Great Silk Road” as well as about coming sport events of international level. The head of diplomatic mission wished success to the participants of sport festival and expressed the gratitude to the management of the University for the support in activation of the partnership.
Director of the Central Nationality University Xuan Taiyan addressed the participants of sport tournaments with his greetings and wishes. He highly appreciated growing dynamics of sport successes of Turkmenistan in international arena and the role of current event in the consolidation of friendship between the students of two countries, popularization of the principles of healthy life style among the youth.
The students competed in 100 m run, volleyball and basketball tournaments, checkers competitions.
First grade student of Beijing Transport University Babageldy Dovletmuradov was the first in men’s run competitions. First grade student of Magistracy of Beijing Nort Tehnology University Jemile Erjanova was the best in women’s short run. The competition was followed by cycling races with the participation of Turkmen and Chinese students. Murad Yaziyev, the student of Beijing North Energy University won in checkers tournament.
All prizewinners of the competitions received the certificates and memorable gifts.
