Exhibitions for the National Spring Holiday and other cultural events

Turkmenistan is preparing to host large-scale events dedicated to the National Spring Holiday – International Nowruz Day, which will be celebrated on March 21–22.

The main celebrations will take place in the Nowruz Valley – “Nowruz ýaýlasy” in the Ak Bugday etrap of the Ahal velayat. Throughout the pre-holiday week, thematic exhibitions and festive concerts will be organized in all regions of the country near the buildings known as “Türkmeniň ak öýi.”

On March 16 at 3:00 p.m., the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan will host the grand opening of the exhibition “Gelse Nowruz äleme,” dedicated to the National Spring Holiday. The exhibition will present the centuries-old traditions of Nowruz Bayram, including one of its main symbols—the dish “semeni,” made from sprouted wheat grains, which symbolizes vitality and the renewal of spring.

An important event in the capital’s business life will be the exhibition at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, which will take place from March 17 to 19. The exhibition is dedicated to the 18th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The platform will showcase key achievements in the development of the national economy and the successes of the private sector in the field of import substitution.
