Preparations for the National Spring Holiday – International Nowruz Day – became the key topic of the report presented by Deputy Prime Minister Bahar Seyidova at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which was held via the digital system.

The main celebrations will take place at the picturesque venue “Nowruz ýaýlasy” in the Ahal velayat. The program of events is based on deep national traditions as well as the literary heritage of the Hero-Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan.

Guests of the celebration will enjoy a large-scale cultural marathon featuring live installations. These include theatrical performances recreating ancient customs of agriculture, horticulture, and traditional crafts, performances by creative groups, festive concerts and exhibitions of art masters, as well as demonstrations of national rituals associated with hospitality and family celebrations.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed that a high organizational level be ensured for all planned events.
