A spectacular performance by members of the legendary Galkynysh national equestrian games group from Turkmenistan together with artists of the State Circus of Turkmenistan and the State Equestrian Circus named after Gyorogly of Arkadag city took place at the modern circus complex Circus Sea Breeze in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. During the performance, Turkmen artists demonstrated spectacular elements of traditional equestrian games as well as complex acrobatic tricks performed on the famous Akhal-Teke horses — the national pride of Turkmenistan. The harmony between riders and horses, along with the elegance and beauty of the Akhal-Teke breed, impressed the audience.
The “Galkynysh” equestrian group, widely recognized on the international stage, is the Grand Prix winner of the prestigious International Circus Arts Festival in Monte Carlo, which confirms the high professionalism of Turkmen artists and their contribution to the development of world circus art.
In addition to the equestrian acts, the audience enjoyed performances by artists of various circus genres, making the show rich and diverse. The performance was warmly welcomed by the audience and accompanied by enthusiastic applause.
The performance at Circus Sea Breeze marks a continuation of the tour of the Galkynysh national equestrian games group in Azerbaijan. In the coming weeks, Turkmen artists will continue to delight audiences with their spectacular performances, presenting their unique equestrian skills to the public until 30 March.
