The delegates of Turkmenistan got acquainted with the advanced educational IT-projects of Kazan

The Turkmen delegation paid a working visit to Kazan in order to get acquainted with advanced educational practices in the field of IT-technologies, study and exchange experience in this area.

The delegation included the vice-rector of the International University of humanities and development, specialists from the Ministry of education of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of communications of Turkmenistan.

A key point in the program of the trip to Kazan was a visit to «School 21» − an innovative school of programming and digital technologies operating under the auspices of «Sberbank» PJSC.

The Turkmen guests were familiarised in detail with the activities of the school, whose educational model is based on peer-to-peer methodology and a practice-oriented approach, when students learn programming skills through collaboration and the implementation of real projects. The «Sberbank» PJSC project is aimed at training high-demand IT-specialists and developing the human resources potential of the digital economy.

On the campus of the school, Turkmen delegates took part in a strategic session on the theme: «Qualified IT-personnel − a key factor in a competitive economy and advanced development».

In his speech, the head of the educational project «School 21» Y.Vershinina presented the experience of implementing an innovative model for training highly qualified personnel in the field of information technology. The report revealed the key approaches underlying the educational concept of the project, as well as its role in shaping the modern human resources potential of the digital economy.

Then there was a presentation by the Turkmen side, in which successful educational practices of Turkmenistan were reviewed. It was emphasised that the vocational education system of the country demonstrates significant progress in the field of digitalisation, integrating modern information and communication technologies into the educational process. Effective examples include the widespread use of electronic educational platforms that provide access to digital learning resources and promote the development of distance learning.

During the visit, the Turkmen delegation visited the Technopark named after Bashir Rameev, one of the leading innovation centres in the region. The guests from Turkmenistan had the opportunity to get acquainted with the advanced projects and technologies implemented by the residents of the technopark, as well as fully assess its scientific and technical potential.

The parties emphasised the important role of the technopark as a platform for knowledge exchange, stimulating innovation and strengthening international cooperation in the field of science and technology.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation participants noted the advanced educational practices of «School 21» and the potential of the Technopark named after Bashir Rameev, as well as their high importance in training highly qualified specialists for a competitive digital economy. The parties expressed their mutual willingness to share experiences and jointly implement innovative projects that open up new opportunities for technological development.

The visit of the Turkmen delegation to Kazan was an important step in expanding and strengthening educational cooperation between the two countries in the field of IT and digital technologies.
