The exhibition dedicated to the 18th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan has become a significant event showcasing the achievements of the national private sector. Time has shown that the import substitution strategy not only creates new jobs but also enables domestic enterprises to produce complex, high-tech products.
A clear example of this success is the pavilion of the E.S. “Şanly Mekan”, where unique large-scale products made of high-strength fiberglass are presented. Founded in 2022, the company already has its own product line, which includes four types of vessels—from fishing boats of various lengths to leisure motorboats.
As noted by company representative Serdar Dovletov, fiberglass-reinforced plastic is distinguished by exceptional durability and resistance to extreme temperature fluctuations, surpassing aluminum and wood in several characteristics. The combination of strength and lightness makes these vessels popular among fishermen, tourism enthusiasts, rescue services, and professional sailors. The service life of such boats averages 20–25 years, thanks to the high corrosion resistance of composite materials.
In addition to shipbuilding, the company is actively developing the production and installation of large swimming pools. The pool shells are manufactured directly at the plant and delivered to the site in finished form, ensuring quick installation and watertightness. To maintain crystal-clear water, the company offers filtration and purification systems based on quartz sand or glass media, which effectively remove fine particles of dirt.
The private company also has the capacity to produce modular piers. Their lightweight and easy-to-assemble design allows for the installation of docking facilities and artificial islands directly on the water, creating recreational areas and temporary structures.
In the field of architecture, composite materials from “Şanly Mekan” open up possibilities for creating durable facade panels with imitation of natural textures or smooth futuristic surfaces. Currently, raw materials for increasing the thickness of products are imported, but in the future, the company plans a full transition to local production. Special attention is given to long warranty periods and quality that meets state certification standards.
