On the initiative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the sports complex of the diplomatic town in Riyadh was held a mini-football tournament.
Teams of embassies and representative offices of international organizations accredited in Riyadh, as well as representatives of the Turkmen diaspora, took part in the competitions.
The participants and guests of the event before tournament start were informed about the key directions of the state policy in the sphere of sports, major international competitions planned for conducting in Turkmenistan in 2018, comprehensive work on the establishment of the principles of a healthy lifestyle in society.
Then started exciting football fights. Winners and prizewinners of the competitions were awarded prizes from the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Saudi Arabia, all participants were presented T-shirts bearing the emblem of 2018 - "Turkmenistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road".
The participants appreciated the staff of the Turkmen diplomatic mission for the good tournament organization and the atmosphere of friendship.
