The campaign to care for winter wheat is in full swing in the Balkan velayat. Farmers of the region, aiming to ensure food abundance in the current year—whose motto is “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses”—are carrying out agrotechnical measures in strict accordance with established standards.

In the fields of the country’s western region, vegetation irrigation, fertilization with mineral and organic fertilizers, and weed control using herbicides are being systematically continued. High efficiency is ensured by modern machinery and attachments equipped with digital systems and telematics. Careful maintenance of the fields is being carried out in the Gyzylarbat, Bereket, Etrek, and Esenguly etraps, as well as in the Magtymguly etrap.

In the current season, farmers of the Balkan velayat plan to harvest more than 80,000 tons of crops from 50,000 hectares. It should be noted that the production association “Balkanobahyzmat” is making a significant contribution, with its mobile teams ensuring the uninterrupted operation of specialized equipment for spraying crops. Taking advantage of favorable spring weather, the region’s farmers are laying a solid foundation for the future harvest, striving to confirm their status as leaders in fulfilling contractual obligations.
