The opening of the Lu Ban workshop on the territory of the International University of oil and gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev was jointly discussed at an online meeting by the heads and specialists of the Turkmen University, Xi'an petroleum University and Hebei petroleum vocational technical University of PRC.
The meeting took place within the framework of the Memorandum of understanding on the establishment of the Lu Ban workshop in Turkmenistan between the International University of oil and gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev and Xi'an petroleum University, Hebei petroleum vocational technical University, China national petroleum corporation CNPC, and the Chinese association for international educational exchange.
During the workshop, representatives of Turkmen and Chinese universities reviewed the results of joint work on the implementation of the agreements reached, key issues related to the opening and operation of the Lu Ban workshop, the current stage of the project, as well as priorities and plans for cooperation.
It was noted that the ongoing work on the site allocated on the territory of the university for the creation of the Lu Ban workshop is carried out in a timely manner in accordance with the established requirements and tasks.
As it was emphasised, the establishment of the Lu Ban workshop in Turkmenistan will greatly contribute to the training of high-level specialists, engineers, technologists with deep knowledge and professional skills in the context of rapidly developing innovative technologies.
At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed confidence that the jointly implemented project would give a new impetus to the development of Turkmen-Chinese cooperation in the field of science and education.
