Farmers of the Balkan velayat are actively carrying out the sowing campaign on lands near the Garagum River. The work is being conducted in strict accordance with agronomic standards, while a modern, technology-driven approach is skillfully combined with many years of agricultural experience.

Cotton growers of the Balkan velayat have repeatedly demonstrated their expertise by harvesting rich yields. In this year’s sowing campaign, farmers are using seeds of high-yield varieties adapted to local soil and climatic conditions. Tenants, landowners, and specialists from peasant associations are working in the fields. The work is ongoing without interruption, including the first vegetative irrigation of already sown areas.

A special role in the sowing campaign is played by machine operators and engineers of the “Balkanobahyzmat” association. High labor productivity has been noted in five etraps of the region: Gyzylarbat, Bereket, Etrek, Esenguly, and Magtymguly.

To ensure the uninterrupted operation of machinery, 19 service teams have been established in the velayat, working around the clock. These teams include welders, repair technicians, and mechanics who promptly eliminate malfunctions directly in the field.

The current pace of work in the Balkan velayat inspires confidence that a solid foundation is being laid for the future harvest. This year, the velayat’s farmers plan to harvest 16,000 tons of “white gold” from 13,000 hectares of land, meeting the upcoming state holidays with strong labor achievements.
