A «Bahasa Club» has opened at the «Diller Dünýäsi» language centre in Ashgabat. This initiative aims to increase interest of young people in foreign languages and expand their understanding of world cultures.

Merdan Atayev, coordinator of the «Young entrepreneurs» Centre at the Ashgabat city committee of the Party of industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, acted as a consultant at the first lesson. He told the participants in detail about the peculiarities of the Malay and Indonesian languages, their spread in the world and their cultural significance.

«Bahasa Club» is not only a language learning experience, but also a great opportunity to get acquainted with the rich culture of Southeast Asia. Classes are aimed at making learning easy and fun.

This language club was organised jointly by the Ministry of education of Turkmenistan, the «Diller Dünýäsi» language centre, the Young entrepreneurs centre under the Ashgabat city committee of the Party of industrialists and entrepreneurs, and the Centre for information, advisory and volunteer activities of the Youth organisation named after Magtymguly.

Classes are held weekly on Wednesdays at 15:00, with each class focusing on a different topic, allowing participants to develop their skills comprehensively.
