As is well known, the spring racing season of the year «Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses» continues in all regions of the country. The ceremonial events held on this occasion are distinguished by their scale, transforming the competition into a cultural celebration.

The events that took place at the Balkan equestrian complex were further vivid evidence of this.
42 racehorses from the districts and cities of the velayat took part in the next round of the spring season. The stands of the magnificent complex were filled with numerous horse racing fans, who greeted each race with thunderous applause. The skill of the experienced riders and their masterful ability to control their horses evoked genuine admiration.

In total, the competition included five races among horses aged 3, 4 and older at distances from 1200 to 1800 metres.
According to the results of the first 1200-metre race among 8 three-year-old horses, the winner was the bay horse Dagdan (jockey T. Tulegenov), who covered the distance in 1 minute 27 seconds. In the second race over a distance of 1200 metres among three-year-old racehorses, the bay horse Shazada (jockey S. Geldiyev) came first to the finish line with a result of 1 minute 26.51 seconds.

The third race brought together 8 participants aged 4 years and older over a distance of 1800 metres. The championship here was won by the chestnut horse Sylap (jockey A. Orazov), who covered the distance in 2 minutes 12.77 seconds.
In the fourth 1800 metre race among horses 4 years and older, the black horse Dagarman (jockey R. Akmammedov) won with a time of 2 minutes 12.45 seconds.

Nine older horses competed in the final, fifth race over a distance of 1800 metres. In this tense battle, the first to cross the finish line was the bay horse Kichidag (jockey T. Tulegenov), who covered the distance in 2 minutes 11.58 seconds.
The winners of the exciting competition were presented with special prizes in a ceremonial setting.
