Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an online working meeting with participation of Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet T.Atahallyev and khyakims of velayats, at which the issues connected with work, carried out in the agricultural complex and regions of the country were considered.

Khyakim of Akhal velayat T.Nurmyradov, who reported on agricultural activities proceeding in the region, was the first to take the floor.

As he informed, with a view to obtain a high yield of wheat, at present, fields are applied with mineral fertilizers and irrigated to achieve a good growth according to agro-technical standards.

At the same time, the cotton sowing continues in the velayat according to the established plan, at that, special attention is given to effective operation of agricultural machinery.

In addition, due care is provided for potatoes, vegetables and gourds.

With a view of successful fulfilment of the established plan for manufacture of cocoons, today tenant silkworm breeders ensure proper care of silkworms.

In connection with warming in pastures, areas under crops and in green zones of the velayat are cleaned and ploughing for prevention of fires.

Besides it, the khyakim reported on the course of construction of social, cultural and industrial projects to be opened in the region the current year.

Having heard the report, the head of the state emphasised the significance of ongoing agro-technical activities and in that connection, instructed the khyakim to ensure conduction of cotton sowing in target dates and provide proper care of wheat and other crops.

In addition, the President of Turkmenistan instructed him to keep control over timely and qualitative fulfilment of civil work at different projects, which are planned to commission in the velayat, the current year.

Then, khyakim of Balkan velayat Kh. Ashyrmyradov reported on the course of agricultural campaigns in the region.

As he informed, these days, the fields of the velayat are applied with mineral fertilizers and irrigated for good vegetation of wheat, in particular.

Besides it, due steps are taken for the well-organised conduction of cotton sowing and completion of this responsible campaign in target dates.

Guided by target tasks to increase in volumes of production of vegetables and gourds, fields sown with potatoes, vegetables and gourds are provided proper care.

At present, corresponding work is also carried out to prepare premises for maintenance of silkworm and to supply producers of cocoons with silkworm eggs.

With a view of prevention of fires in pastures, in mountain and wood areas as well as in flat territories of the region corresponding actions are taken.

Besides it, the khyakim reported on the course of construction of various projects to be commissioned in the velayat, in the current year.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan pointed out the necessity of strict observance of scientifically well-founded standards at all stages of agricultural production for achievement of high indicators. In that regard, the khyakim was instructed to ensure a constant control over the current field activities in the region.

The head of the state also instructed him to hold the quality and timely completion of construction of the projects, which are planned to open in the velayat this year according to programs of social and economic development of the country in the centre of attention.

Then, khyakim of Dashoguz velayat D.Babayev reported on the paces of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

He informed that at present, the fields sown with wheat are provided due care according to agro-technical standards, they are applied with mineral fertilizers and vegetative watering.

Within the ongoing cotton sowing activities in the velayat, necessary measures are taken to hold this responsible campaign at a qualitative level and complete it in the established agro-technical terms.

Moreover, proper care is taken of potato, vegetable and gourd fields.

With a view of successful fulfilment of the target plan for production of cocoons in the velayat, corresponding work is implemented to supply tenant silkworm breeders with silkworm eggs.

For maintenance of fire safety in wood zones, in pastures and steppe territories of the velayat, ploughing is carried out.

Besides it, the khyakim reported on the course of construction of different projects, which are planned to be commissioned in the region this year within government programs.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan defined conduction of cotton sowing campaign within agro-technical terms as well as proper care of wheat and other food crops among priority goals and gave the khyakim a number of concrete instructions to that end.

In addition, the head of the state instructed him to keep control over qualitative fulfilment of civil work at social, cultural and industrial projects to be commissioned in the velayat, in the current year.

Then, the floor was given to khyakim of Lebap velayat D.Genjiyev.

First of all, the khyakim on behalf of inhabitants of Lebap velayat expressed his sincere gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for opening and commissioning of the Mary-Turkmenabat section of the high-speed highway Ashgabat-Turkmenabat highway and wished Arkadagly Hero Serdar and Hero-Arkadag sound health, longevity and further successes in their large scale activity for the happy life of people.

Then, the khyakim reported on current agricultural activities in the region.

As he informed, at present, the wheat fields are applied with mineral fertilizers and vegetative watering.

The cotton sowing proceeds in the velayat and the sown areas are watered to obtain good vegetation and the fields where a good vegetation has obtained, interrow cultivation is carried out.

In addition, due care is taken of potato, vegetable and gourd fields.

Within the cocoon production season, tenant silkworm breeders also provide proper care of silkworms.

In connection with rise of temperature in pastures, agricultural grounds and in wood zones, corresponding work is carried out in the velayat to prevention of fires.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan noted the importance of timely conduction of agro-technical actions and according to agro-technical standards and effective utilisation of resources to obtain a high yield of agricultural crops and in that connection, gave the khyakim concrete instructions.

Besides it, the head of the state instructed him to hold the qualitative and timely fulfilment of work within the programs of social and economic development of the country, planned in the region in the current year under strict control.

Then, the floor was given to khyakim of Mary velayat D.Annaberdiyev.

On behalf of inhabitants of Mary velayat, the khyakim expressed his gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the stone laying ceremony of the new modern settlement in the territory of Ymambaba gengeshlik of Yoloten etrap and for the opening and commissioning of the Mary-Turkmenabat section of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat autobahn and wished the head of the state and Hero-Arkadag sound health, longevity, further successes in their large scale activity for the benefit of our country and people.

Further, the khyakim reported on the course of seasonal agricultural work in the region.

As he informed, with a view of successful fulfilment of tasks o maintain food abundance in our fatherland, in the wheat fields of the region top dressing by mineral fertilizers and vegetative watering proceed according to agro-technical standards.

The cotton sowing is carried out properly and due steps are taken to involve the full power of agricultural machinery and its effective operation.

In addition, proper care is taken of spring potato, fruit and vegetable crops.

Within the cocoon production season, corresponding actions are implemented to ensure best care of silkworms.

Having heard the report, the President of the country noticed that implementation of current agricultural work at a high organizational level is an important condition for achievement of high indicators in the agrarian sector and instructed the khyakim to adjust harmonious work of all structures participating in the cotton sowing campaign and to provide due care of wheat and spring crops in strict conformity with agro- technical requirements.

Besides it, the head of the state underlined an exclusive importance of successful realisation of programs of social and economic development of our fatherland and instructed him to hold the quality of civil work at the projects planned to open in the velayat during the current year under strict control.

In connection with rise of temperature and with a view of prevention of fires in wood zones, in pastures and agricultural fields ploughing and cleaning of territories for creation of protective zones are carried out.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused attention on the key role of agricultural branch in maintenance of food abundance in the country. In the given context, the head of the state marked the significance of strict observance of agro-technical standards in agriculture for sustainable development of the sector and necessity of consecutive introduction of advanced experience and scientifically well-founded innovative approaches in the sector and gave the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet corresponding instructions to that end.

Then, the President of Turkmenistan, addressing participants of the working meeting, once again made an emphasis on the agricultural campaigns carried out in agricultural fields of the country. Having noted the importance of conduction of cotton sowing in target dates and care of wheat according to agro-technical requirements, the head of the state instructed to hold work in the given spheres under constant control.

Concluding the online working meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants sound health, family well-being and great successes in their work.
