National Institute of Sport and Tourism hosted the award ceremony of annual event action “Turkmenistan – the Country of Health and Inspiration” that is aimed at wide popularization of mass sports. Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports as well as the above-mentioned institute were the organizers of the event.

During the whole month, the residents of the capital and regions participated in the different sport competitions defining the best on football, volleyball, basketball, track and field athletics, national wrestling and other disciplines. The participants who demonstrated high results received the awards and valuable gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.

Sportsmen from the capital were the best among the teams of the country; personnel of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture were the best among the ministries and departments while the team of the Ministry of Interior was the best among law enforcement structure.

The competitions between the students were also captivating. The team of National Institute of Sports and Tourism was the best among high education institutes; the team of Ashgabat secondary professional school of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture was the leader among the colleges; the team of capital school student were the best among secondary schools.

During the event, students of sport school of Ashgabat Department of Youth Affairs and Sports demonstrated different sport performance. Captivating music and acrobatic performance was also showed by the students of National Institute of Sports and Tourism.
