The XVI festival of cultural traditions and national dishes organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan was conducted in Tashkent together with diplomatic missions accredited May 5 in Uzbekistan. The event is aimed at spiritual unity of peoples and intensification of international humanitarian dialogue.

The national stand of Turkmenistan acquainted Tashkent citizens and guests with the history and cultural traditions of our country, works of decorative and applied art, as well as the finest handmade carpets, including silk, carpet products, ketene cloth, textile products and Union of Entrepreneurs and Industrialists products, original souvenirs and works of zergers.

Visitors could worthily evaluate the delicate taste of the dishes of traditional Turkmen cuisine and taste national sweets. The concert with the participation of famous creative groups, musicians, singers, folklore ensembles of the Republic of Uzbekistan was conducated within the framework of the event.
