In the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the livestock sector of the agro-industrial complex of Turkmenistan is demonstrating dynamic development. Livestock breeders at the Mary velayat livestock and poultry production association, relying on government support, successfully completed the critical lambing season for small cattle, which allowed them to significantly increase their livestock numbers.

One of the first to meet the planned targets was the large livestock farm «Maldar» in the Sakarchage etrap, where 66 thousand 485 healthy lambs and kids were produced from 73 thousand 500 mothers. This success is the result of the concerted efforts of the tenant shepherds from all three branches of the farm, who masterfully combine the ancient traditions of their ancestors with the modern achievements of veterinary science.

Currently, the specialists farm pay close attention to the healthy development of young animals, regularly holding consultations for shepherds directly in the pastures. Grazing cattle in areas rich in forage, such as Taz guyy and Harazly, creates optimal conditions for animal growth in accordance with veterinary standards. In addition, the «Maldar» farm is actively preparing for the summer period, in particular, the condition of wells and water-lifting equipment is being checked, and the rational use of natural pastures is planned. Having completed one of the important stages, livestock breeders are not slowing down and have already begun the organised spring shearing of sheep.
