The Turkmen delegation is taking part in the international seminar DARYA SCAFFOLD, held from the 27th to 29th of April in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.
The seminar was organised within the framework of the DARYA initiative with the support of the European union and the European training foundation.
The event is aimed at improving the professional skills of teachers, modernising the educational process, and introducing effective modern approaches to teaching.
The three-day seminar brought together representatives from Central Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Our country is represented by 8 delegates, including employees of the Ministry of education, heads and teachers of pedagogical higher and secondary vocational educational institutions.
During the seminar, participants learned practical approaches to designing, implementing, and evaluating professional development programs for teachers using the innovative SCAFFOLD pedagogical methodology.
The program of the event included interactive sessions, group work, and experience sharing, which allowed for the adaptation of the acquired knowledge to national educational systems.
Following the seminar, participants will develop draft programs for teacher professional development, tools for assessing their effectiveness, and practical plans for the further implementation of the solutions obtained.
This event is an important contribution to the development of the education system in Central Asian countries, improving the quality of training of teaching staff, and strengthening international cooperation in the field of education.
