The products of the private hosiery manufacturing enterprise operating under the Nepis brand, located in the city of Mary and a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, are distinguished by their high quality.

Favorable conditions for the development of small and medium-sized businesses have been created in our country. Thanks to this, and with the support provided by the state, entrepreneurs are making a worthy contribution to strengthening the economic potential of the homeland.

Guided by the goal of ensuring an abundant supply of goods on the domestic market, the private enterprise Nepis produces between 4.5 and 4.7 million pairs of socks annually, depending on seasonal demand. The company’s product range includes 15 main types of hosiery for men, women, children, and teenagers, each available in dozens of variations.

The enterprise’s production facilities include an administrative building, knitting and preparatory workshops, as well as warehouse space. The preparatory workshop handles sewing operations, brand labeling, and the packaging of finished products. Manufacturing is equipped with advanced machinery supplied by leading companies from the People’s Republic of China. The enterprise employs 35 specialists working in two shifts. Domestic cotton is widely used in production, while necessary supplementary components are sourced from China. The high cotton content in the products—80 percent—ensures their hygiene, comfort, and wearability.

This year, which marks the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence, construction has begun on new production facilities aimed at expanding capacity and creating export opportunities. Once the new buildings are commissioned and fully equipped, production output is expected to double, creating additional jobs. The new facilities are planned to be outfitted with modern, high-performance equipment from the People’s Republic of China and Italy.
