The Turkmen institute of architecture and construction announced the winners of the hackathon «IT-Intellect: Digital Test - 2026»

Students from 19 higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of Turkmenistan took part in the hackathon «IT-Intellect: Digital Test - 2026», organised by the Turkmen state institute of architecture and construction from the 20th to 21st of April.

The hackathon was held online, with individual and team competitions.

Based on the results of the IT competition, the highest award – the Grand Prix – was awarded to Berdimyrat Ashyrmyradov, a student at the Institute of engineering, technical and transport communications of Turkmenistan.

First place was won by Begmyrat Rozyyev, a student at the Institute of telecommunications and informatics of Turkmenistan, and Gadam Muhammetovezov, a student at the Institute of the MIA of Turkmenistan.

Second place was taken by Serdar Ovezmyradov (International university of oil and gas named after Y. Kakayev), Kakajan Dovranov (International University for the humanities and development), Perman Kakajanov (Turkmen state institute of architecture and construction) and Dovran Akmyradov (Turkmen state university named after Magtymguly).

Third place was awarded to Muhammet Vepamyradov (Mary oil and gas vocational school of the SC «Turkmengas»), Arslan Bayramov and Arslan Sunnatov (State energy institute of Turkmenistan), Nurmuhammet Ashyrov (Border institute of Turkmenistan) and Baymyrat Ashyrov (Turkmen state institute of physical education and sports).

In the team competition, the Grand Prix was awarded to students of the Institute of telecommunications and informatics of Turkmenistan.

The team from the International university of oil and gas named after Y. Kakayev won first place, the team from the International university of humanities and development won second place, and the team from the Turkmen state institute of architecture and construction won third place.

The hackathon winners were awarded diplomas of the corresponding degrees from the organising university.

The hackathon was held to identify and support young talent, improve the quality of professional training of students, develop their creative and innovative potential, analytical thinking, and interest in their future professions, as well as to develop skills in independent and teamwork, develop IT solutions for various fields and tasks, and ensure their security.

The competition is organised as part of the action plan for the implementation of the concept for the development of the digital education System in Turkmenistan and the monitoring of its quality.
