As part of the extensive program of the III International Competition “International Relations: Culture of Peaceful Dialogue,” which began on May 11 at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, lectures by foreign specialists are being held for the university’s faculty members and students.
An interesting and informative presentation for representatives of the Institute was delivered by Wang Sihai, Professor at the Scool of Politics and International Relations of Lanzhou University and Head of the Turkmenistan Studies Research Center at the university.
The professor provided a detailed overview of the center’s activities, its role in strengthening bilateral academic ties, and the strategic goals behind its establishment. The audience showed great interest in the scholar’s lecture devoted to a comparative analysis of the philosophical concepts of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi and the classics of Chinese poetry. Following the lecture, a lively discussion took place during which students received comprehensive answers to their questions.
Next, Pu Sang, Associate Professor of the School of Politics and International Relations at Lanzhou University delivered an insightful presentation entitled “From the Taste of China to the Civilization of China.” His lecture allowed listeners to gain a new perspective on the rich cultural heritage of the Chinese people through the prism of their traditions and civilizational values.
The meetings significantly strengthened students’ interest in studying the Chinese language and inspired young people to contribute to the further development and prosperity of the multifaceted dialogue between Turkmenistan and the People’s Republic of China.
On May 11, a lecture by Makhadmumin Tagoev, Associate Professor of the Department of World Economy at Tajik National University, was also held at the Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The guest provided listeners with valuable information on trends in the development of the modern global economy, economic models, and the characteristics of international trade relations. Particular attention was paid to the fundamental principles of the modern world economy and issues related to the interaction of financial and economic systems.
During the lecture, Associate Professor Makhadmumin Tagoev offered practical recommendations to students studying economics at the Higher School of Turkmen Diplomacy. Drawing on his extensive experience, he spoke in detail about effective methods for analyzing local, regional, and global economic data, improving analytical skills, and mastering international economic indicators.
At the conclusion of the lecture, students received detailed answers to all of their questions. The event contributed not only to enriching the students’ professional experience, but also to further strengthening Turkmen-Tajik scientific and educational cooperation and friendly relations between the two countries.
