Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus Highlights the Importance of “Agro Pack Turkmenistan – 2026” for Establishing Direct Contacts Between Producers

The international exhibition “Agro Pack Turkmenistan – 2026” continues its work at the exhibition hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The large-scale forum has become an extensive platform for showcasing advanced agricultural technologies and strengthening international business partnerships.

Today, Turkmenistan is demonstrating steady progress in implementing the state program aimed at ensuring food abundance. Special attention is being paid to supplying the domestic market with essential locally produced goods, steadily increasing the share of private entrepreneurs in the production of fruit, vegetable, and livestock products, as well as introducing innovative solutions and exchanging experience with leading global agricultural producers.

One of the active participants in the forum is the Republic of Belarus. In an interview with the correspondent of “GA,” the Ambassador of Belarus to Turkmenistan, Stanislav Chepurnoy, emphasized the importance of the “Agro Pack Turkmenistan” platform for establishing direct contacts between manufacturers.

“This exhibition is, above all, an excellent opportunity for enterprises involved in the agro-industrial sector to find foreign partners, become acquainted with Turkmenistan’s significant potential in this field, establish connections and contacts, and conduct negotiations. Considering the great attention that the leadership of Turkmenistan pays to the development of the agro-industrial complex and food security, the Republic of Belarus is represented at this year’s exhibition by the company “Complemet”, a producer of complex fertilizers. In addition to its products, the company also offers effective solutions for soil preparation and plant growth support for interested agricultural producers in Turkmenistan,” said the diplomat.

The ambassador expressed hope that the exhibition would result in new agreements and long-term contracts contributing to increased productivity of Turkmen lands.

“We hope for the successful participation of our enterprise at the exhibition, for the conclusion of agreements and, of course, contracts. I would like to wish all exhibition participants, both from the Turkmen side and foreign representatives, productive and successful work,” said S. Chepurnoy.

The head of the diplomatic mission also noted that cooperation in the humanitarian and educational spheres remains an important aspect of bilateral relations. Currently, around 9,000 Turkmen students are studying at universities in Belarus.

A special role in training specialists is played by the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy (Gorki). It trains personnel for Turkmenistan’s agro-industrial sector, including agronomists, food technology specialists, agricultural mechanization engineers, and experts in dairy production.

“The training of qualified specialists who will work with modern technologies is the key to the successful long-term development of Turkmenistan’s agro-industrial complex,” concluded the Belarusian diplomat.
