The 22nd annual football tournament among employees of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in the People's Republic of China was conducted in the sports complex of Peking University. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the General Directorate for Physical Culture and Sports of the People's Republic of China are the organizers of the event.

Sixteen teams representing embassies of Turkmenistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, USA, Italy, Great Britain, Poland, South Africa, Japan, Korea, Sweden, Australia, Hungary, Maldives, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports of China took part in the competitions.

All teams demonstrated a dynamic, attacking football during the tournament. Our team, consisting of the staff of the diplomatic mission and Turkmen students studying in the universities of Beijing, won the team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China with a score of 2: 1 and won the championship cup. The team of the British Embassy took third place.
