The Engineering and technology university of Turkmenistan named after Oguz han held an environmental event for schoolchildren at specialised secondary school №116 in Ashgabat.

The event, dedicated to the sustainable development goals, aimed to foster environmental awareness among the younger generation, enrich the knowledge of schoolchildren about environmental protection, and broaden their understanding of the importance of careful stewardship of natural resources.

During the event, students were provided with detailed information about the main areas of the sustainable development goals. Important topics such as environmental protection, water and energy conservation, and waste reduction were covered. Thanks to the various educational games, question-and-answer sessions, and group work of the event, students easily perceived and quickly absorbed new information.

Schoolchildren actively participated in the meeting, expressing personal opinions and making brief proposals for environmental protection, reflecting the keen interest of the youth in the most important and common tasks of achieving sustainable development goals.

At the end of the event, participants were presented with commemorative gifts. Those gathered noted the need for regular events like these, which make a significant contribution to the development of environmental awareness and the education of the younger generation.
