This year, around twenty-four thousand young men and women will graduate from schools in the country’s northern region. The largest number of graduates has been prepared by general education institutions in the city of Dashoguz, Shavat etrap, and Garashsyzlyk etrap.
As throughout the country, "Last Bell" ceremonies marking the end of the academic year will be held on May 25 in all general education schools across the region. Distinguished graduates and education sector employees will receive commemorative gifts, and various cultural and public events will also take place.
Thanks to the successful implementation of state programs aimed at further strengthening the material and technical base of the education sector, Dashoguz velayat today possesses a well-developed network of general and preschool educational institutions. The region has more than five hundred secondary schools, including dozens of specialized schools with advanced study of foreign languages and other subjects, as well as boarding schools. Educational institutions continue to undergo systematic technical modernization, ensuring the broad introduction of modern technologies into the educational process. The conditions created in general education institutions contribute to the formation of a highly educated younger generation. At the same time, along with the intellectual development of students, due attention is paid to their physical training.
New schools that meet modern standards are being built annually in various parts of the velayat. In the coming years, the network will expand with several more institutions both in the administrative center of Dashoguz velayat and in some of its etraps.
