Today, the official pre-conference registration for the XXV International Exhibition and Conference “White City Ashgabat 2026” was successfully held at the Olympia Hotel in Ashgabat, marking a key preparatory milestone ahead of the opening of the international forum.
The registration process confirmed the participation of more than 800 delegates representing 55 countries from around the world, including senior government officials, representatives of international organisations, urban development experts, investors and industry leaders. In addition, over 125 foreign companies are participating in this year’s exhibition and conference, reflecting strong international interest in Turkmenistan’s urban development, infrastructure modernisation and investment cooperation agenda.
During the registration day, international participants completed onsite accreditation procedures and received official conference badges, delegate credentials and information materials prepared by the Organising Committee. Delegates were also provided with updated programme details and logistical information to ensure smooth participation in all scheduled sessions and events.
Alongside the registration formalities, arriving international delegates took part in an official cultural programme arranged by the Organising Committee. The agenda offered a comprehensive introduction to Turkmenistan's historical legacy and contemporary urban achievements, featuring guided visits to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Nisa, the National Carpet Museum of Turkmenistan, and an extensive city tour highlighting Ashgabat's unique architectural identity and infrastructure landmarks.
The Olympia Hotel served as the central coordination and networking venue for arriving participants, facilitating initial professional interactions and operational alignment ahead of the official opening of the conference.
With the completion of registration activities, the Organising Committee confirms full readiness for the official opening of White City Ashgabat 2026, which will commence tomorrow at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, bringing together global stakeholders for high-level dialogue on sustainable urban development, infrastructure innovation and international investment cooperation.
