Textile industry enterprises increase export supplies of Open End and Ring yarn

In January-April this year, the cotton-spinning factory in Kunyaurgench etrap, Dashoguz Velayat supplied high-quality yarn to the companies in Turkey and Russia to the amount of more than six million manats. The enterprise has successfully explored the world textile market, exporting about 80% of manufactured goods.

The annual capacity of the factory that was put into operation in Dashoguz Velayat several years ago and supplied with the equipment produced by the leading European companies is to process 6,700 tons of ginned cotton and to produce 6,000 tons of highly-demanded Open End cotton yarn. The spinning and drawing machines, scribbling sets and other mechanisms of modern modifications installed there are characterized by the high productivity and optimum energy consumption.

In the northern region of Turkmenistan that specializes in the cultivation of middle-stapled cotton varieties, the processing of raw materials into high-quality and environmentally friendly finished products is one of the key directions in the development of the industrial sector. Due to the state investments, new production facilities have been built there in recent years and existing cotton processing enterprises have been modernized. One of the major new buildings in this area is the cotton-spinning factory put into operation in Dashoguz in 2010. The annual capacity of the factory is to process more than 16,600 tons of cotton fiber per and to produce 14,500 tons of high-quality Ring yarn that is in great demand in the world market.

Another successfully working factory in the region - "Serdar" produces yarn by open-end spinning. In the coming years, another modern cotton spinning enterprise, which will ensure the increase of production volumes of this industrial segment in the domestic and foreign markets, will be opened in the region.
