Today, all comprehensive secondary schools of Turkmenistan hosted the ceremony of the "Last call» on the occasion of the completion of the academy year 2025-2026. The event, which announced the beginning of new life for tens of thousands of young people who are leaving secondary schools, was filled by pleasant and disturbing moments. The fact that this holiday coincides with Ashgabat City Day and gives it a special solemnity and importance.
In the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and on the basis of noble undertakings of Hero Arkadag the special attention is given to the perfection of the education sphere. One of the major goals is the training of the erudite, highly skilled specialists who are well versed in innovative technologies. In that connection, in the country a large-scale work is carried out to increase the mental potential of the rising generation. The number of the secondary schools equipped with modern technologies grows, advanced methods of training are actively introduced and curriculums are consistently improved, textbooks and manuals are enriched with the maintenance. In addition, digital technologies are regularly introduced in the education system.
The modern youth - the generation, devoted to their independent fatherland and people, called to increase the authority of the country and to bring their worthy contribution to its further progress and prosperity. For this reason, the special attention is given to its all-round intellectual development and development of high technologies. As known, by the Resolution of the head of the state the «Concept of perfection of the method of training under general educational programs in Turkmenistan till 2028» and the Plan on its realisation were approved. The given document provides a series of measures, aimed at maintenance of continuity and interrelation of preschool and secondary education, and formation of the erudite, true patriot young people of our land. Adoption of this important concept visually testifies to the priority of issues of modernisation of national education sphere, successful realisation of reforms and compliance of the scientific-educational complex with the level of the world standards.
In addition, in the country, the basis of the national education system for top skills professional training is consistently strengthened, joint projects with world scientific-educational centres and international organisations are realised. Wide opportunities are created for continuation of training and obtaining of demanded specialities both in higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan, and in foreign higher schools. All it clearly speaks of socially focused policy successfully realised in the state.
... by the developed noble traditions in the morning the best school leavers of secondary schools and educators laid flowers at the Independence Monument - a symbol of the sovereignty of our native land, at the monuments to Berdimuhamet Annaev established at the pedagogical secondary vocational school named after Berdimuhamet Annayev in Arkadag city and at secondary school № of 27 named after Berdimuhamet Annaev in Yzgant settlement of Gokdepe etrap of Akhal velayat. The flower –laying ceremonies on the squares of the Main Flags of all velayats also took place.
Then, in all general secondary schools of the country the solemn ceremony of "Last bell» under the motto «Independent neutral Turkmenistan - the homeland of purposeful winged racers» was held. The national anthem, which sounded in the beginning of events, became a bright embodiment of patriotism, fidelity to our people and high spiritual uplift of the youth. Throughout celebrations the congratulatory message of the President of the country to school leavers, teachers of secondary schools and workers of the education sphere of Turkmenistan was read out.
«Education is a basis of our of national pride, authority and advantage, obtained a world recognition, the firm basis of our well-being and big successes. Thanks to education, we build our fine future, we put into practice the great purposes, we bring up the well-educated highly intellectual and devoted to their fatherland generation. For this reason, on the occasion of the ceremony of "Last bell», taking a special place in the life of our youth of our independent country, events inspiring dear school leavers onto achievement of new boundaries and great purposes in life are organized», - the message of the head of the state underlines.
As is underlined in the message of the President of the country, «Rich events, organized in the wonderful cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, in all cities and villages of our sovereign state, even more raise the importance of the ceremony of "Last bell » in the life of our society.
These celebrations penetrated by high creative spirit, show to the whole world an exemplary work carried out in the country to learn modern knowledge and heights of science by our youth - the future of our fatherland, direction of its talents and abilities to obtain trades and further work, and stimulation of creative activity of teachers».
Parents of school leavers and teachers, who were present at the ceremony, expressed the best regards to young people and congratulated on the completion of secondary school. In turn, school leavers sincerely thanked teachers for knowledge and education.
At the same time, the schoolchildren who distinguished in school - winners of various subject Olympiads, sports competitions, creative competitions and amateur arts festivals, and also advanced workers of the education system were presented with memorable gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.
Celebrations proceeded with bright festive performances in which the last bell sounded for school leavers. They gave first formers a symbolic key that opens doors into the world of knowledge. Appearance of white pigeons in the sky – harbingers of peace, became one of the most touching moments of the holiday.
Participants of the ceremony adopted the letter of thanks to the President of Turkmenistan in which they expressed deep gratitude for huge care of development of the national education system, creation of all conditions for work and study, and for comprehensive support in formation of the highly educated, progressively conceiving, purposeful younger generation and realisation of its creative and mental potential.
Within the celebrations on the occasion of the ceremony of «Last bell» for school leavers excursions to sights, cultural-entertaining centres, museums and parks of the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, and all velayats of the country were organised. In the evening, the musical and song centre "Aşgabat" hosted the festive action. Heads of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, public organisations, higher educational institutions, school leavers, workers of the education sphere took part in it. The concert of workers of art also took place on the square before the State Circus. Songs sounded and incendiary dancing programs devoted to our white marble coated capital, fatherland, people and unforgettable school days, were performed.
