Faculty members of the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University have authored new textbooks intended for the country’s higher educational institutions.

The new educational publications were approved by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, prepared for publication with the support of the Turkmen State Publishing Service, and printed by the university’s publishing house.

The authors of the new textbook “Sectoral Accounting and Analysis” are professors Orazsoltan Halmyradova, Ogulsuray Godekova, Dayanchmyrat Murrikov, and Maksat Jumayev.

The book provides a detailed explanation of the financial and economic operations of the agricultural and industrial sectors, the theoretical foundations of accounting, and methods of economic analysis. The textbook topics are presented in accordance with the objectives of the National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022–2052 and are of great importance for the effective organization of production and financial activities.

The book consists of two main sections, each containing eight chapters.

The first section, titled “Accounting,” examines such topics as the significance of business accounting, documentation, cash accounting, industrial production costs, bank loans, balance sheets, and financial reporting.

The second section of the manual, “Theory of Economic Analysis,” describes the objectives, methods, and organization of economic analysis. This section scientifically presents methods for evaluating fixed assets, labor resources, payroll funds, as well as accounting for the production and processing of agricultural products. The theoretical materials in the textbook are supported by specific examples and calculations.

The new educational manual will serve as an important guide for university lecturers and students studying subjects such as sectoral accounting, agricultural accounting, and the analysis of economic activity.

Another new textbook, “Zoohygiene,” was written by Tore Garlyev, Associate Professor at the agricultural university and Doctor of Veterinary Sciences.

The textbook thoroughly covers the subject of zoohygiene and methods for its application in production. It scientifically explains issues related to the quality of the environment, air, soil, water, and feed, as well as their impact on animal health. The book discusses modern veterinary and sanitary approaches, methods, and innovative scientific principles aimed at strengthening animal health, increasing productivity, and eliminating various adverse conditions.

Separate chapters of the textbook provide detailed descriptions of hygiene practices for keeping horses, dogs, cattle, camels, and various birds, including broiler and turkey farming in Turkmenistan, as well as fish breeding in artificial reservoirs.

Based on extensive and engaging information, the book presents materials on the care of Akhal-Teke horses, stable requirements, the history of horseshoeing, and modern industry equipment. In addition, future specialists are provided with information on veterinary-sanitary and hygienic regulations that must be observed when transporting animals and birds by various means of transport.

The new publication will become a valuable manual for students studying veterinary medicine and for specialized professionals at the Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding and the Turkmen Agricultural Institute.
