From May 20 to 21, the 14th International Open Pedagogical Forum titled “Education: Realities and Prospects” was held at Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University (Russian Federation, Republic of Tatarstan).
The aim of the forum was to promote cooperation between leading scholars and practitioners in the field of education on issues related to improving the professional competencies of teaching staff as a key resource for enhancing the quality of education, as well as to summarize innovative experiences of domestic and foreign teaching communities.
The forum was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, pedagogical universities and colleges of Russia, and representatives of the scientific and educational sectors of Turkmenistan, Algeria, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tunisia, Azerbaijan, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan.

Our country was represented by a delegation headed by Bayram Byashimov, Director of the National Institute of Education. The delegation also included J. Ilamanova and L. Geldiyeva, lecturers from the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages.
Before the start of the event, participants visited an exhibition of innovations and achievements in pedagogical education organized at the Ayaz Gilyazov Tatar Drama Theatre.
At the plenary session of the forum, welcoming speeches were delivered by NCSPU Rector Alfinur Galiakberova, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan R. Muzipov, and Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the municipality of Naberezhnye Chelny V. Kharisov.
Director of the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan B. Byashimov congratulated the organizers and participants on the opening of the forum and wished everyone productive work. He noted the significant contribution of NCSPU to the training of highly qualified teaching personnel for Turkmenistan. In his report titled “Main Directions for Improving Historical Education and Patriotic Upbringing of Youth in Turkmenistan in the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State,” B. Byashimov spoke in detail about achievements in the development of historical education, the training of teaching personnel for educational institutions of Turkmenistan, and the patriotic education of young people.

The forum continued its work in six sections: “Psychological and Pedagogical Problems and Prospects of Preschool and Primary Education,” “Russian Language and Literature in Multicultural Space,” “Modern Approaches and Technologies for Teaching Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science in the Era of Digitalization,” “Current Problems and Prospects for the Development of Physical Education and Life Safety,” “Teaching a Foreign Languages in the Changing World Conditions,” and “Modern Historical Education: the Formation of All-Russian Identity.”
Within the framework of these sections, lecturers of the D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages presented their scientific reports and developments.
At the international seminar “Digital Technologies in Education,” lecturers from NCSPU demonstrated technologies for creating virtual lesson models, where future teachers have the opportunity to develop the necessary pedagogical competencies using a digital simulator.
Substantive and lively discussions took place during the round table “Methodological Aspects of Using Video Materials on Fairy Tales of the Peoples of Russia and Turkmenistan,” in which B. Byashimov participated as an expert.
On the sidelines of the forum, B. Byashimov also held a meeting with Turkmen students studying at NCSPU.
The participation of representatives of our country in this forum became an important step in the development and strengthening of scientific and educational cooperation between universities and scientific institutions of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation.
