The final games of the 10^th round of the Turkmenistan-2026 football championship among major league clubs presented the fans with completely different scenarios, but extremely important from the point of view of the standings of the confrontation. «Ahal» confidently scored three points on the road, while «Ashgabat» retained a minimal advantage at home.

«Ahal» was a guest of «Merv» in Mary on this tour. The first half was held in a tight battle, where the home team successfully held off the attacks of the guests. However, in the opening of the second half of the meeting, «Ahal» managed to crack the defence of the Mary. In the 52^nd minute, Suleyman Mirzoyev coolly converted a penalty, opening the scoring in the match. This goal broke the game of «Merv», and after 8 minutes Magtymberdi Berenov doubled the advantage of the guests. Towards the end of the match, in the 84^th minute, Yakupmuhammet Govshudov brought the score to a crushing one. «Merv» did not give up and at the very end of the match, in the 90^th minute, squeezed out a prestige goal thanks to the efforts of Ezizmammet Orazmammedov. The final whistle recorded a confident 3-1 away victory for «Ahal».

Thanks to this success, the vice-champion of the country «Ahal» scored 20 points and rose to the second place in the standings, continuing the pursuit of «Arkadag», which was without losses with 30 points.

In another match, in which Ashgabat hosted the Balkanabat «Nebichi» at the «Nisa» home arena, the hosts bet on a quick goal and did not lose. Already in the 16^th minute, precise strike of Nurulla Raimbayev put «Ashgabat» ahead – 1-0.

After the missed ball, «Nebichi» tried to seize the initiative and level the situation. The rest of the match was held in a viscous and uncompromising struggle on every part of the field. «Ashgabat» played with maximum discipline in defence, kept their gates locked and kept the minimum winning score.

Having won for the second time in a row, the team of Tofik Shukurov reduced the gap to 3 points from «Nebichi», which was in sixth place with 10 points.

There have been minor changes in the dispute of bomber. «Ahal» striker Suleyman Mirzoyev, who converted a penalty in this round, scored his 6^th goal and, thus, reduced to 3 goals the gap between «Arkadag» striker Didar Durdyyev, who heads the list of snipers. Closes the top three goalscorers with 5 goals (2 from penalties) Serdar Gulyyev from «Shagadam».

The 11^th round of the Turkmenistan football championship among major league clubs starts on the 30^th of May with the matches: «Ashgabat» – «Merv», «Nebichi» - «Kopetdag», «Shagadam» - «Arkadag». And it will end with a principled confrontation between the contenders for medals – «Altyn Asyr» and «Ahal».
