Celebrations dedicated to International Children's Day were held on a grand scale in the Dashoguz velayat. A variety of musical, entertainment, and educational events were held to mark this day in the most beautiful locations of the region. Thus, one of them took place in the recreation park «Galkynyş Eýýamy», located in the administrative centre of the Shavat etrap. Let us remind that it was built using the bonus fund of one million USA dollars allocated to the etrap as the winner of the competition for the title of the best in the country based on the results of 2020.

This park, which has now become a popular place for recreation and active games, has built a variety of exciting attractions designed for children of all ages. The grounds of the park feature concrete paths, delicate gazebos, and beautiful decorative benches. Here you can ride small electric cars and buy various sweets and drinks.

The renovated park in the centre of Dashoguz also greeted children with songs and music. This green area behind the Gorogly monument, where new concrete paths have been laid and the area has been further landscaped, promises to become a new shady place for city residents to relax. As throughout the country, the velayat is creating all the conditions for the harmonious and comprehensive development of children, for their educational and useful recreation.

For the young population, a wide network of general education, preschool, and healthcare institutions has been created here, which is replenished annually with new modern buildings. Thus, another convincing confirmation of this was the construction of a large Maternal and Child Health Centre for 400 people that began in Dashoguz. The new building, which will be equipped with state-of-the-art specialised equipment and offer a wide range of medical services, will cover a total area of nine hectares.

Also, construction is currently underway on another comprehensive school for 600 students and a new kindergarten for 240 children in the «Gulistan» residential area of the administrative centre of the velayat. The modern health centre of children «Bagtyyar nesil», which has a capacity of 300 people and is successfully operating in the region, is also very popular among children. It is a genuine white marble town with a well-developed infrastructure, which, in addition to the administrative building, includes dormitories, a cafeteria, a leisure center with slot machines, swimming pools and an amphitheater, a medical center, sports and playgrounds, and more. Various private shopping and entertainment establishments with gaming machines and attractions for children also operate in the cities of the velayat.
