Guided by the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to organise and quickly conduct the grain harvesting campaign in all regions of the country, agrarians in the Balkan velayat are steadily increasing the pace of work. In the year of «Independent neutral Turkmenistan – homeland of purposeful winged horses», marked by the glorious 35th anniversary of independence of the Fatherland, farmers in the region set a goal: to harvest 80 thousand tons of crops from 50 thousand hectares of wheat fields sown last fall.
These days, the intensity of mowing in the velayat continues to increase. As in previous years, this year the region has grown a rich grain harvest. From the first days of the harvest season, production facilities in the agro-industrial complex of the velayat began operating at the appropriate level. The number of tenants of peasant associations and farms, landowners who successfully and to a greater extent fulfil their contractual obligations, is growing day by day.
Machine operators and engineering and technical workers of the« Balkanobahyzmat» production association are demonstrating high activity during this important season. Operating modern grain harvesters from leading foreign manufacturers, purchased thanks to the targeted policy of the President, experienced machine operators work around the clock, in multiple shifts, striving to complete the campaign within the specified agronomic deadlines. The uninterrupted operation of agricultural machinery, tools and transport is ensured by 16 special maintenance teams. They include experienced specialists, repairmen, adjusters and welders. These mobile teams, fully equipped with fuel, lubricants and spare parts, arrive on site promptly, ensuring the smooth running of operations.
To ensure the prompt and loss-free delivery of wheat shipped from the storage facilities of powerful combine harvesters to the Gyzylarbat and Bereket etrap grain receiving enterprises of the «Balkangallaönümleri» production association, continuous operation of the corresponding motor transport has been established. It should be noted that competitions are organised between hard-working combine operators and vehicle drivers, and the best performers are constantly rewarded by public organisations in the velayat.
