A graduation ceremony for the Class of 2026 was held at the Turkmen state university named after Magtymguly.
This significant event at one of the leading and oldest universities of the country brought together numerous participants – specialists from the ministries and departments of the country, scientists from the Academy of sciences of Turkmenistan and research institutes who participated in the final state examination committees of the university, as well as university administration representatives, professors, teachers, students, and the main participants of the event – the graduates themselves.
In the festive, solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, their teachers, mentors, and honoured guests addressed the esteemed graduates with warm congratulations and good wishes. They wished the young professionals successful beginnings and brilliant future achievements in their professional fields.
During the ceremony, it was noted that in the 2025-2026 academic year, 1,879 specialists, bachelors, and masters completed their studies at TSU named after Magtymguly in more than 30 areas of study.
As emphasised, talented graduates successfully passed state examinations in the disciplines of their training programs and confidently demonstrated a high level of knowledge and professional skills acquired within the walls of their home university. It was noted that TSU named after Magtymguly, as one of the leading scientific and educational centres, has been making a significant contribution to the training of highly qualified, in-demand specialists for the country for nearly a century.
The celebration continued with the presentation of letters of gratitude and commemorative gifts to graduates who had distinguished themselves in their studies and demonstrated exemplary academic performance, won national and international subject, scientific project, and creative competitions, and actively participated in sports competitions, cultural, and social events.
The festive atmosphere of the ceremony in honor of the dear graduates was enhanced by song and dance performances prepared by the creative team of the university «Bagtyýarlyk owazlary».
