Turkmen Delegation Participates in Erasmus+ International Events in Bulgaria

From June 20 to 30, “Angel Kanchev” University of Ruse in the Republic of Bulgaria is hosting a series of international events under the Erasmus+ programme aimed at advancing effective teaching methods, promoting innovative pedagogical practices, facilitating the exchange of experience among university professors and lecturers, and strengthening international scientific cooperation.

Representatives of 13 higher education institutions from 10 countries are participating in the events, including Albania, Algeria, Egypt, France, Jordan, Montenegro, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, and Türkiye.

Turkmenistan is represented by faculty members of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan—Gadam Akmyradov, Ayna Nurmyradova, and Oguljan Akmyradova.

At the opening of the programme, participants delivered presentations highlighting their universities' achievements in education, science, and innovation, their experience in international cooperation, and the projects currently being implemented at their institutions.

The subsequent sessions focused on the integration of digital technologies into the educational process, blended and digital learning models, interactive teaching methods, the application of artificial intelligence in education, improving the effectiveness of scientific research, and enhancing the international competitiveness of higher education institutions.

The programme also included the CompSysTech'26 International Conference on Computer Systems and Technologies, which brought together scientists, researchers, and academics from various countries. The conference featured in-depth discussions of the latest research findings in artificial intelligence, information systems, software engineering, digital transformation, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and information and communication systems.

Representatives of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan actively participated in the conference, sharing their experience in applying digital technologies in higher education, implementing innovative teaching approaches, improving the effectiveness of scientific research, and creating a modern educational environment.

In addition, the Turkmen delegates held discussions with international researchers on the prospects for implementing joint scientific projects and expanding academic mobility programmes.

Participation in Erasmus+ activities traditionally contributes to enhancing the professional qualifications of educators, familiarizing them with advanced international scientific and educational practices, and promoting the introduction of innovative technologies into the education system.

This working visit is expected to make a meaningful contribution to strengthening cooperation between the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan and foreign universities, implementing new joint initiatives, and further enhancing the international standing of the national higher education system.
