Today, a telephone conversation took place between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The Uzbek leader congratulated Hero-Arkadag on his birthday and wished him good health, a long life, success in his large-scale work for the benefit of the Turkmen people, and continued prosperity for the country.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev particularly noted personal contribution of Hero-Arkadag to the development of relations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan and conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the head of state, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Expressing gratitude for the kind words and wishes, Hero-Arkadag noted that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the comprehensive development of fraternal ties and strategic cooperation with the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Hero-Arkadag called high-level political dialogue, based on mutual respect, openness, and friendship, the main condition for deepening bilateral cooperation and, in this regard, expressed gratitude to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for his personal contribution to strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation between our countries and peoples.

At the end of the telephone conversation, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, expressed confidence in the continued successful development of traditionally friendly Turkmen-Uzbek relations and wished peace, prosperity, and progress to the fraternal peoples of the two countries.
