From June 5 to 26, representatives from three higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan paid a working visit to Urumqi, China, to participate in the "China-Central Asia Conference on Industry-Academia-Research-Application Collaboration".
The key event of the conference was the signing ceremony of new educational agreements aimed at expanding the constructive humanitarian dialogue between Turkmenistan and China.
On the sidelines of the forum's plenary session, the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, and the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute signed trilateral Framework Cooperation Agreements with the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and Xinjiang Normal University.

During the forum, representatives of the Turkmen universities shared with their foreign colleagues the country's positive experience in achieving close integration between education, science, and industry.
The forum program included five scientific conferences covering various areas of education, science, and industry, held at major educational institutions across the city of Urumqi.
At Xinjiang Normal University, the Turkmen delegates took an active part in a scientific conference devoted to Chinese studies, Central Asian regional studies, and methodologies for teaching the Chinese language. Speaking at both the plenary and sectional sessions, the Turkmen specialists highlighted the extensive opportunities created in Turkmenistan for studying the nation's cultural heritage and world history, improving foreign language teaching methodologies, and advancing the country's national education system.
During the conference, Turkmen and international experts exchanged professional experience and discussed practical steps for strengthening academic cooperation.
Particular importance was attached to a bilateral meeting between the Turkmen delegation and their Chinese counterparts, during which the parties discussed a joint roadmap for cooperation in the training of highly qualified teachers of the future.
The participation of the Turkmen delegation in the conference marked another significant step toward the consistent and successful development of educational cooperation between Turkmenistan and China. The outcomes of the forum will make an important contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists for the country while supporting the implementation of the objectives set forth in the "Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State: National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022–2052" and the "Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052."
