Turkmen Students Enhance Their Professional Skills at Kent State University in Florence

Students of the International University for the Humanities and Development are undertaking a summer academic internship at the Kent State University branch in the Italian city of Florence.

The internship program is being implemented on the basis of a Memorandum of Understanding between the International University for the Humanities and Development and Kent State University (USA).

As part of the academic program, the students are studying modern methodologies and approaches required for their future professional activities, while also attending lectures delivered by internationally renowned professors. The internship enables the students not only to deepen their theoretical knowledge but also provides an effective platform for improving their practical skills in their respective fields of study within an international environment.

Summer studies in Florence — one of the world's leading scientific, educational, and cultural centres — offer students broad opportunities to exchange experience and establish valuable contacts with peers from different parts of the world, immerse themselves in an intercultural environment, improve their foreign language proficiency, and broaden their personal horizons.

Internships for students of the International University for the Humanities and Development at Kent State University are conducted on a regular basis. The productive cooperation between the two universities, including in the field of academic mobility, serves as an important and effective instrument for training highly qualified, competitive, and well-educated specialists for the country who are capable of worthily representing its interests in the international arena.
