The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan has announced the launch of the sixth season of the intellectual competition “Young Messengers of Peace” for the 2026–2027 academic year.

This large-scale career guidance project is successfully conducted by the university’s School of Young Diplomats among senior students of secondary schools in Turkmenistan who are deeply interested in the history of their country, the development and formation of the Turkmen school of diplomacy, as well as the strategy of Turkmenistan’s domestic and foreign policy and its diplomatic relations with the countries of the world.

The effectiveness of this project is confirmed by the fact that dozens of its talented participants are currently pursuing higher education at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The next, sixth season of the intellectual competition will traditionally begin with a qualifying written test, which will be held on September 9. The organizing committee invites all interested students of grades 10, 11 and 12 of secondary general education schools across the country to participate.

The test consists of 100 questions prepared with consideration of the school curriculum in the following subjects: History of Turkmenistan, World History, Cultural Heritage of Turkmenistan, World Culture, English, and Russian. Moreover, in order to assess students’ logical thinking and analytical abilities, the test includes intellectual questions on logic and IQ. The participants in the new season will be selected based on the results of the qualifying test.

The sixth season of the “Young Messengers of Peace” competition will be held under the motto: “The Foreign Policy of Independent and Neutral Turkmenistan: Cooperation for Peace and Human Development.”

Candidates wishing to participate in the competition must send information about themselves to the email address parahatchylygynchaparlary@gmail.com by September 5. The information must be provided in the following order: Personal Information; Achievements; Language Training; Additional Interests.
