The Memory of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Was Honored at the Cultural Center of the Embassy of Iran in Turkmenistan

An event dedicated to the memory of the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, was held at the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan.

The memorial evening was attended by Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy Abdolreza Abbasi, teachers and students of the Persian language courses, as well as representatives of the mass media.

The head of the diplomatic mission expressed his sincere gratitude to the President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov for their consistent efforts aimed at developing bilateral cooperation.

The Ambassador also expressed deep appreciation to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, for his personal participation in the farewell ceremony held in Tehran.

“This high level of solidarity once again clearly demonstrated that the friendly and fraternal relations between our states are based on deep historical roots and sincere mutual support,” emphasized the diplomat.

In his speech, Cultural Counselor Abdolreza Abbasi highlighted the leader’s role in state policy and the life of Iranian society, his spiritual legacy, as well as his significant contribution to strengthening good-neighborly ties between Iran and Turkmenistan.

During the event, teachers and students of the Persian language courses spoke and read commemorative publications and poems. In addition, the guests were shown documentary video materials, after which verses from the Holy Quran were recited and joint prayers were offered.
