President Serdar Berdimuhamedov summed up the results of the talks in Tbilisi at a press conference

Following talks with Georgian Prime-Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in Tbilisi, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the media. The head of state praised the meetings, noting their businesslike and constructive nature, and reaffirmed mutual commitment of Ashgabat and Tbilisi to long-term, fruitful cooperation.

As the President of Turkmenistan emphasised, following negotiations, including those held the day before with the President of Georgia, key agreements were reached on expanding political dialogue, strengthening the legal framework, and intensifying joint diplomatic efforts.

Calling Georgia an important economic partner for Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the significant potential for increasing mutual trade and diversifying economic ties.

Particular attention was paid to the role of business in interstate relations. As emphasised, a special role in expanding trade and economic contacts and developing new areas of partnership is assigned to the business structures of the two countries.
