Issues related to the development of the national cultural sphere and support for young talents were considered at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held via the digital system. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Mammedov delivered a report on preparations for the final round of the competition among gifted children, “Garaşsyzlygyň Merjen Däneleri.”

As was noted, the competition plays a key role in identifying young talents and fostering love for national art among the younger generation. Following the qualifying stages, 21 solo performers and 14 children’s dance and other creative groups earned the right to perform in the final round. All finalists demonstrated a high level of vocal, artistic and choreographic skill, presenting compositions praising the achievements of independent and neutral Turkmenistan.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the country would continue to create the necessary conditions for young people to receive modern education and realize their creative potential. The head of state instructed the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers to ensure a high organizational level for the final round of the leading children’s competition.
