During the summer holiday season, which is celebrated under the motto «Independent neutral Turkmenistan – homeland of purposeful Winged horses», the flow of vacationers to the «Avaza» National tourist zone is growing daily. Located in this picturesque corner, the «Avaza» Sanatorium has expanded the resort infrastructure of the country, raising it to a new level.

This popular resort, located on the ecologically pristine Caspian coast in the city of Turkmenbashy in the Balkan velayat, has become a true tourism gem. The resort complex, built to international standards, opened on the 21st of June, 2018, and has since offered guests impeccable service and a wide range of medical treatments.

Thanks to its distinctive architecture and favourable location, the health resort has become the main attraction of the «Avaza» resort area. The 20 thousand-square-metre complex is equipped with cutting-edge medical equipment. Experienced staff employ the latest advances in medical science. Specialized departments successfully diagnose and treat diseases of the respiratory, musculoskeletal, nervous, endocrine, and cardiovascular systems. One of the most popular spots of the resort is the herbal tea bar, where guests are offered teas made from medicinal herbs, the properties of which are described in the multi-volume scientific encyclopedic work of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Hero-Arkadag, «Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan».

For those who enjoy active leisure, the resort offers an outdoor swimming pool, a cafeteria, billiards and tennis courts, as well as football, volleyball, and basketball courts.
