President Serdar Berdimuhamedov chaired a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, during which key issues of state life were considered. During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs R. Meredov reported on the country's priority positions for the upcoming 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

On the sidelines of the General Assembly session, Turkmenistan will put forward an initiative to establish, within the framework of the United Nations, a Group of Friends of Multilateralism and the Sovereign Equality of States.

In addition, the practical implementation of the head of state's proposal to establish the University of Peace and Neutrality is continuing. As the next step in this direction, consultations are planned on the establishment of an Academic Center for Peace, Neutrality, and Preventive Diplomacy. The Center is planned to be established under the specialized department of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
