President Serdar Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, during which current issues of state life were considered. During the meeting, a proposal to hold the Turkmenistan Investment Forum in Ashgabat in October of this year was approved.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimyradov reported on the preparations for the international event.

The Investment Forum and its accompanying events will feature a broad range of topics. These include the country’s economic development and investment attractiveness, the key areas of the fuel and energy and industrial sectors, the development of transport and communication systems, digital and green transformation, the introduction of digital financial technologies, the development of agribusiness, the resilience of agriculture to climate change, and environmental protection.

In addition, forum participants will discuss the directions for economic diversification, the development of trade and the service sector, public-private partnership, and the expansion of cooperation with international financial institutions.

The President of Turkmenistan approved the proposal to hold the forum and instructed the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers to ensure its high-quality preparation.
