The regional round of the television competition “Ýaňlan, Diýarym!”, held as part of the competition for the Prize of the President of Turkmenistan “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry”, took place in the Balkan velayat.

Held annually, the competition contributes to the development, further improvement, and promotion of national culture and art, while also identifying talented young people. The measures implemented in this direction during the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State are yielding positive results. This is evidenced by the successful regional rounds of the “Ýaňlan, Diýarym!” television competition, jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography, and the hyakimliks of the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, as well as the country's velayats.

The final round of the “Ýaňlan, Diýarym!” television competition for the Balkan velayat was held in the region’s administrative center, the city of Balkanabat, on the festively decorated square in front of the “Türkmeniň ak öýi” building. An atmosphere of joy and celebration prevailed throughout the event.

The competition, which became one of the notable events of the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of the Purposeful Winged Horses,” showcased the talent and performing skills of young artists. The magnificent venue, where the celebration of art unfolded, sparkled with colorful lights. The final round of the “Ýaňlan, Diýarym!” television competition for the Balkan velayat brought together 10 young amateur singers who had won the qualifying rounds held in the etraps and cities of the region.

The competition, held in the year marking the glorious 35th anniversary of the Motherland’s independence, provided music lovers with many unforgettable moments. Inspired by the constant care of Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the development of national culture and art, the young amateur singers enthusiastically performed beautiful songs, demonstrating their vocal abilities to the audience and the jury while revealing their talent and creative potential.

In their performances, the contestants praised the sacred independence of our permanently neutral Motherland, the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, this year’s motto — “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of the Purposeful Winged Horses,” the country's remarkable achievements, as well as friendship, peace, and brotherhood. Each performance was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.

The participants’ performing skills, stage culture, modern approach, national character, and the high artistic quality of their songs were reflected in the fair evaluations of the jury members. The final moments of the competition were particularly exciting and emotional.

Following the results of the creative contest, Bayrammyrat Yakubov, an amateur singer from the Etrek Etrap Cultural Center, and Amanmyrat Maidyyev, a resident of the settlement of Guvlymayak in the Turkmenbashi etrap, were declared the winners and earned the right to participate in the national round of the “Ýaňlan, Diýarym! – 2026” television competition. In a festive ceremony, they were presented with bouquets of flowers and valuable gifts.
