At the “Gara Altyn” Children's Health Center of the State Concern “Türkmennebit”, located near the settlement of Hazar in the city of Balkanabat, the children of specialists and employees of the country’s oil and gas enterprises and institutions are actively and usefully spending their time. At this health resort, which adorns the healing Caspian seashore, 400 children rest and improve their health during each session of the summer season of the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses.” The cultural and sports programs organized for them provide vivid emotions and unforgettable impressions.
Performances by children’s creative groups during the events fill the Caspian coast with beautiful melodies. In addition, the children enthusiastically attend educational clubs, compete in poetry recitation, singing, playing musical instruments, dancing and creating stage performances. Cheerful youngsters enjoy the excellent conditions and experience many joyful moments.
The modern children’s center features service and utility facilities equipped with advanced equipment, a dining hall, a reading room, recreation rooms, computer classrooms, training halls and sports grounds. It offers every opportunity for organizing musical celebrations and cultural events. The children’s colorful performances dedicated to the motto of the year, “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses,” are invariably met with enthusiastic and prolonged applause.
From early morning until late evening, this corner is filled with the cheerful laughter of happy children. Educational excursions, full of unforgettable moments and remarkable discoveries, leave a lasting impression on the young participants.
