The Ashgabat International Platform "International Law" will be established at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. It will serve as a permanent scientific and diplomatic center for expert discussions.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs R. Meredov reported on the new proposal at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers as part of the implementation of the UN Resolution "Year of International Law, 2028," adopted at the initiative of Turkmenistan.

The platform will bring together national and international experts to conduct in-depth studies of current issues of international law and facilitate the exchange of best practices. It is planned to regularly host the large-scale Ashgabat International Legal Dialogue on the platform. Specialized summer educational programs will also be organized for young lawyers, diplomats, and researchers.
