Preparations for the new academic year at general education institutions in the Dashoguz velayat are nearing completion. Traditionally, cosmetic repairs are carried out in school buildings to maintain them in proper condition. Where necessary, classrooms, gyms, and other facilities are being renovated, including the renewal of wall paint, ceiling finishes, and flooring. In addition, classrooms are being equipped with visual teaching aids and methodological materials, as well as new equipment.

As part of improvement works, asphalt surfaces have been renewed in the surrounding areas of a number of schools. Particular attention is being paid to equipping classrooms with modern computer technology, ensuring fire safety, maintaining sanitary standards in school canteens, and improving lighting conditions. In short, a high-quality environment is being created so that students have every opportunity for comfortable learning and personal development in the new academic year.

Thanks to the consistent modernization of the material and technical base of the education sector carried out by the state, a broad network of general education institutions has been established in the Dashoguz velayat. Today, more than five hundred schools, including boarding schools, are successfully operating in the region. Their number is annually increased with modern newly built facilities, whose high level of technical equipment makes it possible to actively introduce advanced teaching methods into the educational process. This year is no exception, as the construction of two new general education institutions continues in the region: one in the city of Dashoguz with a capacity of 600 students and another in the city of Kunya-Urgench with a capacity of 420 students.
