From August 2 to 7, 2026, the prestigious international competition «IWISE Global Final London 2026» took place in London, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Turkmen schoolchildren demonstrated brilliant results in this large-scale intellectual competition, which brought together students from 25 countries worldwide.
Our country was represented at the tournament by 10 talented students. The mentors and team leaders of the Turkmen delegation were Myrat Sahetgulyyev, a computer science teacher at Specialized Educational Complex No. 1 in Arkadag City, and Gochmyrat Bayramov, a history teacher at Specialized Secondary School No. 97 with Intensive Language Learning in Ashgabat.
The students competed in key robotics disciplines: Line follower robot, Maze solving robot, and Mini-sumo robot.
Following all stages of the competition, the Turkmen team won 10 awards — 6 gold and 4 silver medals.
Top honors and gold medals were awarded to Resulberdi Orazberdiyev, Salyh Kakalyyev, Resul Geldiyev (students of Specialized Secondary School No. 97 in Ashgabat), Selim Begmuradov (Secondary School No. 7 in Ashgabat), Nurmyrat Kulov (Specialized Secondary School No. 87 in Ashgabat), as well as Malikmyrat Annamuradov (1st Specialized Military School named after Berdimuhamed Annayev of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan).
Silver medalists included Salyh Altyyev (Specialized Secondary School No. 97 in Ashgabat), Rozymyrat Yagshymyradov (Specialized Secondary School No. 13 in Ashgabat), Ebubekir Berdiyev (Specialized Secondary School No. 3 in Arkadag City), and Umyt Atamyradov (Specialized Secondary School No. 2 in Arkadag City).
A special source of pride for the team was that five Turkmen participants demonstrated an exceptional level of preparation, earning the honorary title of «Best of the Best» along with special monetary prizes.
This impressive success of Turkmen schoolchildren on the international stage is clear evidence of the effectiveness of the modern educational environment created in the country and the comprehensive support provided to young talents.
