At the same time, great attention is paid to the intensification of the partnership with competent structures including the TÜRKSOY, which activity is aimed at the improvement of the relations between Turkic speaking countries. Having stated with delight the productive character of the cooperation with this international organization, the Head of the State highlighted the declaration of 2014 as the Year of Magtumguly Fragi and declaration of Mary as the cultural capital of Turkic world in 2015.
During the meeting, the Head of the State and his guest exchanged the views on perspective directions of the partnership. Intensification of relations in culture and art, activation of scientific studies in history, language, literature, national art traditions of Turkic speaking nations have been outlined among topical vectors. The importance of joint events supporting the enrichment of cultural heritage has been highlighted in this context.
This year the TÜRKSOY celebrates its 25th anniversary, Dusen Kaseynov said, having mentioned active participation of Turkmenistan in work of this international organization. speaking of the importance of further development of musical culture, the guest proposed to dedicate one of the events to the memory of outstanding Turkmen composer Nury Halmamedov.

Special emphasis has been laid upon the importance of theatre festival “The Silk Road of Cordiality” held these days in our country.in this context, the Head of TÜRKSOY proposed to expand the borders of the festival to international level with the participation of the states not only of Turkic world but Eurasian space as well.
During the meeting, the Secretary General of the International Organization presented book “Turkmenistan – the Heart of the Great Silk Road” published in Turkey in Turkish language as a gift to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Speaking of the great importance of fundamental work of Turkmen leader, Dusen Kasynov highlighted that special accent is made on the role of interstate trade and economic relations in the book as well as it cites valuable knowledge of the history and culture of Turkmens and other nations living along the Silk Road.
